Running is not for the faint hearted, testing both your mental and physical strength. However, Darfield High School has traditionally been competitive in running against the majority of public schools in Canterbury. We have our annual Darfield High School Cross Country Championships during Term One, followed by opportunities to represent the school at Canterbury and South Island levels.

Distance: 2km for Juniors and 4km for Seniors (approx).
